Ummiid believes that meaningful communities are built through responsible communication, genuine participation and respect for the people they serve.
The Ummiid Affiliate Programme is intended to enable eligible participants to introduce the platform to relevant audiences, share accurate information, support community awareness and participate in approved promotional activities.
This Policy explains the standards, eligibility requirements, reward principles, payout rules and safeguards that apply to affiliate participation.
1. About the Affiliate Programme
The Ummiid Affiliate Programme is a platform-promotion initiative operated by Decentra Innovation Lab Private Limited, subject to the programme features actually made available and applicable law.
Eligible participants may receive access to approved referral links, campaign materials, tracking tools and other promotional resources.
Participation is voluntary and is governed by this Policy and the applicable Affiliate Programme terms. It is not a job or employment. Unless separately agreed in a separate written agreement, participation does not create an employer–employee relationship, partnership, franchise, agency or ownership interest in Ummiid.
Affiliates are independent participants. They do not receive a salary, monthly wages, minimum income, guaranteed compensation or employee benefits under this programme. They may not represent themselves as employees, authorised legal representatives or official spokespersons of Ummiid unless separately authorised in writing.
2. Who Can Participate?
Participation is subject to the eligibility requirements displayed during registration or in the applicable programme terms.
Affiliates must:
- Provide accurate registration and contact information.
- Use their own authorised account.
- Accept the applicable programme terms.
- Follow the platform’s promotional and security rules.
- Complete any required verification before rewards or payouts are approved.
- Comply with applicable Indian laws and other laws relevant to their activities.
Ummiid may decline, restrict, suspend or terminate participation where permitted by law and the programme rules.
3. Our Career and Community Opportunity
Ummiid encourages responsible participation through activities such as:
- Introducing people to the platform.
- Developing communication and digital-promotion skills.
- Helping communities understand available fundraising services.
- Sharing accurate educational content about responsible fundraising.
- Building professional relationships through ethical outreach.
- Participating in approved community-awareness initiatives.
Participation is voluntary and subject to this Policy and the applicable programme terms. It is not a job or employment contract, and it does not provide a salary, monthly wages or guaranteed compensation. Any eligible reward is determined only under the applicable Affiliate Distribution rules.
The programme is an opportunity to participate in platform promotion. It is not a promise of employment, guaranteed earnings, financial independence, business success or career advancement.
Results depend on individual effort, audience response, programme eligibility, approved activities and other circumstances.
4. Honest Promotion Standards
Affiliates must communicate accurately and responsibly.
The following conduct is prohibited:
- Promising guaranteed income, returns, jobs or financial success.
- Making misleading claims about the platform, fundraising outcomes or programme benefits.
- Publishing fabricated earnings screenshots, testimonials, rankings or performance figures.
- Impersonating company representatives or government officials.
- Using spam, deceptive messages, unauthorised automated outreach or misleading advertising.
- Misrepresenting the affiliate programme as an investment, deposit, savings product or guaranteed-return scheme.
- Making unapproved tax-benefit, regulatory-approval or charitable-status claims.
- Pressuring vulnerable people to participate or spend money.
- Using another person’s personal information without appropriate authority or a lawful basis.
Affiliates must use approved brand assets and promotional materials where required and must clearly disclose their affiliate relationship when applicable.
5. Referral Links and Attribution
Where referral tracking is available, affiliates must use the links or identifiers issued to their own accounts.
Referral attribution is subject to the actual tracking rules, eligible events, fraud controls and programme terms disclosed by Ummiid.
A referral does not automatically qualify for a reward. The referred activity must satisfy the applicable eligibility conditions, and the relevant event must be validated by the platform.
Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, fabricated identities, manipulated tracking, unauthorised attribution and attempts to bypass programme rules are prohibited.
Where attribution is disputed, Ummiid may review available records and apply the documented programme rules.
6. Affiliate Rewards and Qualification
Affiliate rewards, if any, are earned only for qualifying and validated work or activity under the then-current, approved Affiliate Distribution rules. Completing work or promotional activity does not by itself guarantee a reward; the applicable eligibility, validation, calculation, limits and payout conditions must be satisfied.
There is no salary or fixed payment for time spent, effort made or activity performed. Before participating in a reward-bearing activity, affiliates should be able to review the applicable qualification criteria, eligible activity, reward calculation, applicable limits, payout conditions and any required disclosures.
A reward is not earned merely because someone joins a referral network, creates an account or appears in a referral tree. The activity must meet the relevant approved programme conditions.
Where a programme includes levels, ranks, team activity or performance-based rewards, the qualification and calculation rules must be disclosed clearly before they apply.
No reward percentage, income estimate or qualification claim should be published unless it matches the implemented programme and has received the required legal and operational approval.
7. Reward Funding and Separation of Funds
Affiliate rewards must be accounted for separately from campaign donations and beneficiary funds.
Donations raised for a beneficiary must not be diverted to fund affiliate commissions or referral rewards.
The company must maintain appropriate accounting records identifying the approved funding source, reward liability, calculation and payout for each reward-bearing event.
An affiliate must not tell donors that their contribution funds referral commissions unless such a statement is accurate, authorised and lawful. Ummiid’s affiliate programme must not be presented in a way that misleads donors about how their contributions are used.
Reward-bearing programme features must only be activated when their funding source, accounting treatment, disclosures and legal permissibility have been established.
8. Multi-Level Referral Activities
Where a programme involves multiple referral levels or team-based rewards, additional safeguards apply.
Such activities must operate only under approved written rules, with transparent qualification criteria, accurate disclosures and a lawful, documented funding model.
Rewards must not be based on misleading income promises, coercive recruitment or prohibited schemes. Participation must not require affiliates to misrepresent the value of the programme or pressure others to make purchases.
A referral structure must not be represented as legally approved merely because it has been implemented technically.
If a reward feature is not approved for launch, it must remain unavailable for reward accrual and payout until the required reviews and controls are complete.
9. Reward Statements and Payouts
Where affiliate rewards are supported, the platform should provide an appropriate record of eligible activity, approved rewards, adjustments and payout status.
Rewards may be subject to validation, verification, applicable tax treatment, fraud review and the approved payout process.
An amount displayed as pending is not necessarily an approved or payable reward.
Payout requests must follow the programme’s disclosed procedure. Processing timelines must be represented accurately and must not be guaranteed unless supported by the actual operating process.
The 10% Gift Card purchase processing fee shown in the Affiliate Distribution projection applies at purchase and is separate from the 5% withdrawal/payout processing fee plus applicable GST at 18% on that fee. The projection treats the purchase fee as tax-inclusive; its tax and accounting treatment requires professional confirmation.
Any applicable tax deduction, statutory withholding or other adjustment must be disclosed and accounted for correctly.
Affiliates must provide accurate payout information and are responsible for complying with applicable tax obligations relating to their income.
10. Fraud, Abuse and Misconduct
Ummiid may review suspicious affiliate activity to protect participants, donors, beneficiaries and the integrity of the programme.
Examples include:
- Fake or duplicate accounts.
- Self-referrals or manipulated referral attribution.
- False promotional claims or fabricated proof of earnings.
- Unauthorised use of another person’s identity.
- Artificial activity created to trigger rewards.
- Collusion, fraud, harassment or deceptive solicitation.
- Attempts to exploit system errors or bypass eligibility controls.
Where reasonably necessary and legally permitted, Ummiid may suspend reward accrual, request supporting information, withhold a disputed amount pending review, reverse an incorrectly credited reward or restrict programme access.
Any adjustment should be supported by the applicable rules and transaction records. Platform action does not by itself constitute a final finding of criminal wrongdoing.
11. Privacy and Responsible Communication
Affiliates must respect the privacy of people they contact.
Personal information must not be collected, shared or used for promotional activities without an appropriate lawful basis and any required consent.
Affiliates must not publish private donor information, beneficiary documents, medical details or other sensitive information without appropriate authorisation.
Affiliate-related personal information is handled according to the Ummiid Privacy Policy and applicable law.
12. Relationship with Fundraising
The affiliate programme and fundraising campaigns serve different purposes.
An affiliate may help people discover Ummiid, but must not misrepresent themselves as the beneficiary, campaign organiser or authorised recipient of donations unless separately authorised.
Campaign funds must be managed according to the relevant campaign terms and applicable rules. Affiliate participation does not grant an affiliate ownership of donations, beneficiary funds or campaign proceeds.
13. Suspension, Termination and Disputed Rewards
Ummiid may restrict, suspend or terminate affiliate participation where permitted by applicable law and programme terms.
Reasons may include serious policy violations, fraudulent activity, security concerns, unlawful conduct or repeated misleading promotion.
Where reasonably practicable and legally permitted, the affiliate should receive an explanation and an appropriate channel to request a review.
The treatment of pending or disputed rewards will follow the approved programme rules, applicable transaction records and legal requirements. Termination does not automatically remove any right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Changes to the Programme
Ummiid reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to update the Affiliate Distribution and other programme rules from time to time according to business requirements, operational changes, security needs or legal requirements. This may include adding new rewards, changing reward structures or eligibility criteria, replacing existing rewards, or suspending or discontinuing rewards or programme features.
Material changes should be communicated through appropriate channels and should identify their effective date when published. Changes apply as stated in the notice and applicable programme terms; they must not be used to remove accrued rights retroactively where doing so would be unlawful.
15. No Guarantee of Earnings
Participation does not guarantee referrals, rewards, employment, business growth or a particular financial outcome.
Affiliates should make informed decisions and must not spend money, borrow funds or encourage others to participate based on unsupported income promises.
Any performance examples must be genuine, appropriately qualified and consistent with the approved programme disclosures.
